Sometimes it’s hard to organize your expressions in a way that they portray an image of what it is exactly that you’re trying to say.

Henry Ford once said:  “Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.

I completely agree with him.

It is always up to you-yourself, and no one else-  to achieve something genuinely good.

I think it is awesome that now a days we have this platform to express our thoughts. I’m here to do just that.

Hired to do a restoration of an old commercial building.

Asked to intervene as less as possible on the outside. and with almost no budget, we had to, using the company’s color palette, redesign the commercial building.

We also did some furniture, floors, lightning, etc.

What we did was Restore a 3 story building and adapt it for a company named “RUBA”.

RUBA had 3 offices inside the city of Monterrey, Mexico. The plan was to join the 3 of them so they could have a better, more efficiently organized headquarter.

Even though I haven’t had the chance to post the final pictures of the building - I Hope to do this soon- you can see some pictures by clicking on the link.

This is just a preview of my last project in architecture school. All this was done in a time frame on one month (September 2011).

The challenge is to create town houses of about 180 squared meters (on its first phase) with a possibility of expansion in the future.

Its design has to be realistic in all its forms: economically, structurally, and aesthetically.

Its a competition between about 40 groups, each of 4 architecture students.

The winner will be able to build 15 town houses with its design at the end of this year.

Project made in 2010 by 4th year architecture students:

Rodolfo Delgado, Lourdes Prieto, Maggy Lortia and Alberto Padron.
